What is Poroparoni reindeer farm?
Poroparoni is a reindeer safari company operating in Hyrynsalmi in Upper Kainuu, which is the southernmost reindeer herding area in Finland. At our reindeer farm, you can get to know and learn about reindeer herding, farming and the everyday life of reindeer herders in the traditional natural landscapes of Kainuu. The farm is about 10 kilometers from the Ukkohalla ski resort. We offer unforgettable experiences with reindeer in the form of reindeer feeding and reindeer rides. During your visit, you can also relax in our self-made hut, where you can also buy souvenirs and reindeer products made on our farm, such as reindeer sausage. Welcome!
